After learning that a single glass of almond milk requires 20 gallons of water to produce and that most plant based mylks are filled with unnecessary, artificial ingredients and allergens, I was determined to create a great tasting, creamy alternative. Enter flax, a nutritious seed, farmed in North America. Flax is not irrigated, but flourishes on natural rainfall, and flax is packed with nutrients that all end up in your glass. Benefits of Ground Flax Seed: We use whole, ground organic flaxseed in our recipe, which is far superior to using flax oil. The ground seed is full of fiber, omega-3's, protein and phytochemical called lignans. Lignans demonstrate antioxidant activity that potentially protect your cells from the environment. Plus, the whole ground seed in easier to digest. Instacart pickup cost:
- There may be a "pickup fee" (equivalent to a delivery fee for pickup orders) on your pick up order that is typically $1.99 for non-Instacart+ members. Instacart+ membership waives this like it would a delivery fee.
- Pick up orders have no service fees, regardless of non-Instacart+ or Instacart+ membership.

- Don't Replace: For items you'd rather not replace, choose "Don't replace" to get a refund if the item is out of stock.
