Directions

Fusilli with Zucchini Flowers: Ingredients: 1/2 box (6 oz) schar fusilli. 6 zucchini flowers. 5 oz boiled chickpeas. 1/2 leek. 1 oz pitted black olives. A sprig of thyme. Directions: Boil water for pasta. Wash the zucchini flowers. Slice the zucchini flowers then add to pan with a tablespoon of oil and cook gently. Add the chickpeas and thyme and cook. Cook the pasta, drain and fry in a pan, then add the olives. Prep. time 15 min. Cook time 14 min. Serv. size 4 ppl. How Italians Cook their Pasta: Bring a pot of 2 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Add desired amount of dry pasta to the boiling water. (For the best texture, do not add pasta before water is at a full boil.). For al dente pasta, cook for 14-16 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once cooked to desired texture, drain and serve with your favorite sauce or recipe.

Storage Instructions: Store in a cool, dry place.
