Directions
Preparation: Before cooking beans, examine, sort and rinse well to remove any material. Soak using desired method. Quick Soak: For every 1 lb. of beans (approx. 2 cups), add beans to 6 - 8 cups of hot water in a large pot. Bring to a rapid boil; boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand for 1 hour. Drain and rinse beans. Overnight Soak: For every 1 lb of beans (approx. 2 cups), add 6 - 8 cups of cold water. Let stand overnight or at least 6 - 8 hrs. Drain and rinse beans. Cooking: Add 6 cups of hot water to drained and rinsed beans. Simmer gently with lid tilted until desired tenderness is achieved (about 1.5 - 2 hrs).

- Pick up orders have no service fees, regardless of non-Instacart+ or Instacart+ membership.
