Imitation Bacon Bits (Textured Soy Flour, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Salt, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Dextrose, FD&C Red 3 and 40 Food Color), Onion, Red Bell Pepper, Green Bell Pepper, Jalapeno Powder, Garlic Powder and Spices.
Directions
Garlic Jalapeno Cheese Ball: Serves 8. Ingredients: 1 packet Just in Time Gourmet Garlic Jalapeno Cheese Ball Mix with bacon bits; 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened. Directions: Remove bacon bits packet from mix and set aside. In a bowl, beat the mix and cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Spoon cheese ball mixture onto plastic wrap and form a ball; chill 2 hours. Pour bacon bits on plate; remove cheese ball from plastic wrap and roll in bacon bits until covered. Serve immediately with your favorite crackers and/or vegetables, or store in the refrigerator in an air-tight container for up to one week. Garlic Jalapeno Quiche: Serves 6. Ingredients: 1 packet Just In Time Gourmet Garlic Jalapeno Cheese Ball Mix with bacon bits; 1 pound lean ground beef or sausage; 1 (9-inch) deep dish frozen pie crust; 4 eggs; 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese; 1 cup milk. Directions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large non-stick skillet, combine mix and bacon bits with meat and cook until meat crumbles and is no longer pink. Drain meat mixture then scoop into pie crust. In a medium bowl, lightly beat eggs. Add cheese and milk, then stir until well blended. Pour egg mixture over meat mixture. Bake uncovered 35 to 40 minutes, or until firm in center and quiche begins to turn brown.
