Fermented & probiotic. USDA organic. Raw and natural. Locally made. New York City. Filled with life. In Chinese, BAO means treasure which is what we strive to deliver with each batch of our handcrafted products. BAO is also an acronym for our company name Bad Ass Organics. We salute everyone with the bad ass attitude to reject the barrage of unhealthy food and drinks and commit to living a healthy lifestyle. - Mike & Mike. This is a living food. There are billions of active probiotic cultures inside this bottle, so do not get disturbed by any bubbles you may see. This is a sign the fermentation is still occurring which is a good thing. As a raw and living food, variations in color, taste and texture may occur. Most industrially produced food is pasteurized, eliminating these variances as well as the nutritional benefits resulting from natural fermentation. BAO is committed to using locally grown vegetables. At our urban fermentation farm in New York City, we use the 7,000 year old process of fermentation to convert and preserve this local product into a one-of-a-kind bottle of bubbling, sour goodness. BAO is always raw, organic and vegan, and free of GMOs, gluten and soy. Certified organic by QAI. Contains probiotic cultures and fermented acids. Pride of New York. Made in NYC.
Ingredients
Organic Tomatoes, Organic Garlic, Organic Ginger, Organic Raisins, Organic Spices, Sea Salt.
Directions
Keep refrigerated. Shake well. Careful when opening. Serving Suggestions: BAO K'Chup has no added sugar, no corn syrup, no artificial sweeteners. Use it as a replacement for mass-produced, high caloric ketchups to add a touch of life to your breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack.
