However, the creation of Jägermeister Manifest involves a more complex process and a very specific refining method which takes significantly longer. The four macerates of Jägermeister original, which have been refined for a year in oak barrels, are combined with a fifth macerate with 2.5x the botanical load. This is then married with a northern German wheat distillate refined separately for fifteen months in small barrels made of German and American oak. It’s this combination of time and herbal liqueur expertise that helps make Jägermeister Manifest a unique premium product. Distinct yet perfectly balanced, Jägermeister Manifest’s unique flavor has many layers. The flavor experience begins with notes of vanilla, sweet anise, and dried fruit. Then continues with a faint aroma of fresh wood and citrus bitterness. Use this cordial as a cocktail on its own with a few dashes of chocolate bitters and a fresh orange peel.
