Our Story: The original Claim Jumpers flourished in the rich gold and silver mining territories of the Wild West more than a century ago. Directions
Keep frozen. Cook thoroughly. For food safety and quality, follow these cooking instructions: Home oven temperatures vary so please adjust the cooking instructions accordingly. Internal temperature of product should reach 165 degrees F. Microwave (Preferred Method): Pull tab on side of outer carton to open box. Do not remove Beef Pot Pie from outer carton. Place open carton (with pot pie inside) into microwave oven. Microwave on High for the following time: High Wattage Microwave Oven (Over 1100W): 10-12 minutes; Medium Wattage Microwave Oven (900W - 1100W): 11-13 minutes; Low Wattage Microwave Oven (Under 900W): 14-17 minutes. If microwave does not rotate, rotate outer carton a quarter turn halfway through cook time. Pot pie is ready when top crust is golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes in microwave before serving. Carefully remove Beef Pot Pie from outer carton by sliding onto a plate. For Successful Microwaving: The pot pie must be in the outer carton with the silver liner over the top of the pot pie. Conventional Oven: Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F. Remove Beef Pot Pie from outer carton. Leave Beef Pot Pie in paper tray and place on cookie sheet on center oven rack. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Note: If edges of pot pie begin to brown excessively, cover edges with a strip of aluminum foil and continue baking.
