Step 1: Select numbers of servings. Serving pasta water salt (optional). 1 box, 4 qts. 2 tbsp. Step 2: Time for boiling. Cook for 10 minutes al dente. Cook for 11 minutes firm. Cook for 12 minutes tender. Step 3: Directions for cooking: 1. Bring 4 quarts of water to boil for each pound of pasta; salt to taste, if desired. 2. Add pasta and return to a boil, stirring occasionally. 3. Boil uncovered 10 to 12 minutes or until desired tenderness. 4. Remove from heat; drain. Cooking instructions are a guideline and may be altered slightly. Traditional Goya Lasagna No. 89: Ingredients: 16 oz. (1 lb.) package Goya lasagna No. 89. 1 lb. ground beef. Goya salt and pepper to taste. 1 (25 oz.) jar Goya meat sauce. 1 cup ricotta cheese. 1 cup mozzarella cheese. 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese. 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. Cook pasta according to package instructions. 3. In a medium skillet brown the meat, add salt and pepper to taste. 4. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in the bottom of baking dish, cover with pasta pieces, then add more sauce. 5. Top with grated parmesan cheese and shred-ded cheddar cheese. 6. Heat in oven for 20 minutes until the cheeses melt and the filling is hot. 7. Let it stand 5 minutes, cut and serve.
