Pasture raised & fed. 365 days a year. Naturally grass fed. Ultra-pasteurized. Homogenized. Humane treatment for cows. Nutritious. Earth friendly. 7 years old. Hi, I am Miss Bella. I'm lucky to be a Hart Dairy Cow. We get to eat fresh grass in pastures, 365 days a year. We have plenty of room to roam - more than a football field for every two cows! Most dairies keep their cows indoors in barns much of the year. They don't get to eat grass outdoors in pasture every single day like we do. Because we are pasture grazed year-round, our milk is super nutritious and tastes amazing (Compared to conventional dairy farms). Our milk is also non-GMO and comes from cows which are not treated with rBST or antibiotics. Hart is the first pasteurized milk dairy in the US to be Certified Humane (Compared to conventional dairy farms). Our farm is also using advanced farming methods to be as environmentally friendly as possible! This means we are well treated and makes us healthier and happier cows (Meets the Humane Farm Animal Care Program standards, which include nutritious diet without antibiotics, or hormones, animals raised with shelter, resting areas, sufficient space and the ability to engage in natural behaviors Certified Humane.org). And take it from me, when we cows are happy. we make Simply Better Milk. Why Hart milk? Humane Treatment for Cows: Hart Dairy is the first Certified Humane dairy in the US selling grade A milk (Meets the Humane Farm Animal Care Program standards, which include nutritious diet without antibiotics, or hormones, animals raised with shelter, resting areas, sufficient space and the ability to engage in natural behaviors Certified Humane.org). There is no significant difference between milk from cows treated and those not treated with rBST. Certified Humane: Raised & handled. Nutritious: Naturally occurring antioxidants beta carotene, CLA and omega-3. 9 essential vitamins and minerals. Good source of protein.
