Directions
You Will Need: 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter, margarine or spread (If using spread, use one that has more than 50% oil). 1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F for nonstick cookie sheet). Stir cookie mix and melted butter in medium bowl until soft dough forms. Place fudge pouch in bowl of hot water (do not microwave pouch); set aside. 2. Place parchment paper on cookie sheet (do not reuse parchment paper). Place dough in middle of printed tree shape on parchment paper. Press dough evenly to the line. 3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool completely before frosting. 4. Squeeze green frosting pouch for 10 seconds to soften (do not microwave pouch). Cut off one end of pouch. Sqeeze frosting over cookie; spread evenly. 5. Sqeeze fudge pouch for 10 seconds; create string of lights and tree trunk. Immediately decorate tree with rainbow candy pieces. Store loosely covered. Betty’s Tip: Decorate your tree using the ideas below or create your own! High altitude (3500-6500 ft): Heat oven to 350 degrees F for all pans.
