Hand made. Hand selected. Hand cut. The Story: In the endless pursuit of perfection, we are always tinkering with combinations of flavors and textures in an attempt to create the next great cheese. BelGioso La Bottega Artigiano is that cheese. Grounded in tradition with an eye toward the future, Artigiano is crafted using home grown cultures that have been developed over decades to achieve a flavor palette all its own. Pleasantly nutty and sweet, Artigiano is mixed in small batches and cured using proprietary, artisanal methods to achieve its delicate crystalline texture. Pairings: Artigiano Vino Rosso: Merlot; IPA; Pears; Grapes; Almonds; Speck. Artigiano Classico: Chianti; Hard cider; Cherries; Apples; Pistachios; Salame. Artigiano Aged Balsamic & Cipolline Onion: Shiraz; Pilsner Berries; Hazelnuts; Lomo Americano. Artigiano cheeses are aged over 5 months.
Ingredients
Vino Rosso: Artigiano Cheese (Cultured Milk, Salt, Enzymes), Red Wine Blend. Classico: Cultured Milk, Salt, Enzymes. Aged Balsamic & Cipolline Onion: Artigiano Cheese (Cultured Milk, Salt, Enzymes), Balsamic Vinegar (Wine Vinegar, Concentrated Grape Must), Onion (Red Onion, Vinegar, Sugar, Salt).
Directions
How to Cut Artigiano: Achieving flavor in every bite. The best way to eat Artigiano is with the rind. This is where the flavor soaks into the cheese and creates a distinctive taste throughout. The white dots on the rind are calcium crystals - a sign of properly aged cheese. They add some pleasant crunchies to the firm, crumbly body. Remove cheese from packaging using easy-open tab. Make one cut vertically down the middle of the wedge. Slice perpendicularly to the center and cut to the desired size. Serve and enjoy flavor in every bite!
Keep refrigerated.
