Ingredients
100% Whole Grain Wheat Flour, Cane Sugar, 100% Whole Grain Oat Flour, Wheat Protein Isolate, Confetti Sprinkles (sugar, Rice Flour, Palm Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Corn Starch, Cellulose Gum, Carrageenan, Color (spirulina, Annatto, Vegetable Juice, Turmeric, Beta Carotene]), Whey Protein Concentrate, Leavening (baking Powder (sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Baking Soda, Corn Starch, Monocalcium Phosphate), Monocalcium Phosphate, Baking Soda), Light Molasses (refinery Syrup, Cane Molasses), Milk Protein Concentrate, Natural Flavor, Sea Salt.
Directions
Bake: Cake: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and coat the pan(s) with non-stick spray. Beat all ingredients together with a mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes. Gently hand stir the batter to evenly distribute sprinkles. Pour the batter into prepared pans. Bake according to times above. Bake: Cupcakes: Preheat to 350 degrees F and line two 12-cup muffin pans with cupcake liners. Beat all ingredients together with a mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes. Gently hand stir the batter to evenly distribute sprinkles. Fill liners 1/2 full with batter. Bake according to times above. Bake: Bake two 9 in cakes according to package instructions. Let cool completely. Use an electric mixer to beat the butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract and mix until light and fluffy. Add the cake to the frosting and beat until fully combined. Portion and roll the cake into 2 tablespoon-sized balls. Place the cake balls in the freezer for 1 hour. Melt the candy-coating chocolate in a glass measuring cup. Dip the tip of a lollipop stick in the melted coating and place it into a frozen cake ball (Tip: Work with only a few cake pops at a time, leaving the remaining in the freezer). Then dunk the cake ball into the coating until completely covered. Remove and allow the chocolate to drip off. Decorate with sprinkles and stick into a styrofoam blok or a cardboard box poked with small holes until chocolate sets. Store refrigerated in an airtight container. Makes about 35 cake pops. Birthday Cake Pops: You'll Need: 1 box Kodiak mix, baked. 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened. 2 cup powdered sugar. 3 tbsp milk. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 2 bags (20 oz). Candy-coating chocolate. Lollipop sticks. Sprinkles for decorating. For high-altitude baking (+3000 ft), increase oven temperature by 25 degrees F.
