Drain and rinse. In a saucepan, melt butter; Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Slowly add and stir in milk; Cook and stir until thickened. Add onion, cheese and next two ingredients. Cook and stir until cheese melts. Pour mixture over macaroni. Toss lightly; Turn into a buttered 2 quart casserole. Top with crumbs. Bake at 375°f for 25 minutes or until top is browned.
