As a young boy in Maine, our founder Matt spent his summers bending birches. Years later, he would carry that same playful spirit to his love of pancake-making, and eventually, to the brand he hoped to share with the world. Organic Wheat Flour, Organic Evaporated Cane Sugar, Leavening (sodium Bicarbonate, Monocalcium Phosphate, Non-gmo Com Starch), Salt, Organic Potato Starch, Organic Cassava Starch
Directions
5-6 Pancakes: 3/4 cup mix, 2/3 cup water. 10-12 Pancakes: 1 1/2 cups mix, 1-1/3 cups water. Tip: For thicker pancakes, use slightly less water: for thinner pancake use slightly more water. 1. Mix your ingredients until combined. Let prepared batter sit for 2 minutes. 2. Heat your pan over medium-high heat or turn your electric griddle to 375 degrees F. 3. Lightly oil the pan or griddle. 4. Pour or scoop 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto your hot pan or griddle. 5. Cook 2-1/2 minutes on each side or until the pancakes are gold brown. Warning: Do not eat raw batter. Please cook fully before enjoying. Want Waffles? Mix 3/4 cup of mix, 2/3 cup of water, and 1 tbsp of oil. Mix until combined and let batter rest for 2 minutes. Heat up waffle iron, coat with non-stick cooking spray. Cook according to the waffle iron instructions or until waffles are golden brown.
