Keep frozen. Cook thoroughly. Cooking (To prepare entire package): For food safety and quality purposes, this product must be cooked to a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees F prior to eating. Since stove tops and skillets may vary, time and temperature may need adjustment. The following microwave instructions for gravy packet are based on an 1100-watt microwave set on high. Due to differences in microwave ovens, heating times may vary. Keep frozen until ready to use. You Need: 6 large eggs and 1 tablespoon cooking oil or no-stick cooking spray. 1. Place gravy pouch on a microwave-safe plate seam-side up. Carefully cut a small slit along seam (about 1-inch long) in center of pouch close to the top. 2. Place in center or microwave. Microwave on high for 2 minutes 30 seconds to 3 minutes or until gravy is thawed completely. Caution: Gravy packet will be hot! Let stand in microwave while preparing potatoes and eggs. 3. Meanwhile, beat 6 eggs with a wire whisk in a medium bowl until well blended; set aside. Add 1 tablespoon oil to a 12-inch non-stick skillet; pour in sausage-potato mixture. 4. Cook and stir over medium heat for 10 minutes; pour beaten eggs evenly over potato mixture. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until eggs are set, stirring occasionally. 5. Carefully remove gravy pouch from microwave. Carefully open with scissors and pour gravy over sausage-egg mixture; mix lightly. Cook for 2 minutes or until thoroughly cooked. Serve immediately. Caution: Product will be hot! Cook's Tip: Substitute no-stick cooking spray for oil, if desired. Serving Suggestions: Customize your flavor by adding hot sauce or cheese. To prepare gravy packet on top of the range: place gravy packet in a medium saucepan; cover with water. Bring to a boil over high heat. When water comes to a boil; reduce heat to medium-high setting. Boil gravy pouch for 5 minutes or until completely thawed. Turn off heat. Continue as directed above.
