King Arthur Unbleached Enriched Flour (Wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Cane Sugar, Nonfat Milk, Natural Flavors, Baking Powder (Monocalcium Phosphate, Baking Soda, Cornstarch).
Directions
Vanilla Cream Scones: To Make Easy Drop Scones You Will Need: 1/2 teaspoon salt; 2 large eggs; 1 cup heavy cream. 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a baking sheet, or line with parchment paper. 2. Stir together scone mix and salt. Stir together eggs and cream, then pour over mix stirring just until moistened. If needed, drizzle in another tablespoon of cream to make dough hold together. 3. Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, using about 1/3 cup for each scone. Leave 2 inches between them. Bake in upper third of the oven for 14 to 16 minutes, until they're a light golden brown. Remove from oven, wait 5 minutes, and glaze if desired. Serve warm. Yield: 8 scones. Classic Triangle Scones: Follow mixing directions above. Shape scones by placing dough on the baking sheet, and patting into an 8 inch circle. Cut circle into 8 wedges, separating slightly. Bake as directed.
