Artisan bakery. With real sea salt. 4 fully baked pretzels. At Axel's, our family of bakers is dedicated to crafting a proper soft pretzel. That's why we make ours by hand and only use simple, organic ingredients - plus a heap of Pennsylvania-grown whole wheat flour. The result is a soft pretzel with superior texture and taste unlike any other. From our hands to yours - enjoy! Made with locally-grown, 100% organic Pennsylvania whole wheat flour. Who is Axel? Axel Claussen is a German-born Pittsburgher with a passion for pretzels. Far from the bakeries of his native Eberbach, Axel was unable to find a proper pretzel nearby. So one day he decided to bake his own! After years of recipe development, working with local flour mills, and getting the twist just right, Axel finally created a pretzel that lives up to his exacting standards. We hope it lives up to yours too. Proud to support Pennsylvania farms.

Ingredients
Organic Unbleached Malted All-Purpose Flour (Organic Wheat Flour, Organic Malted Barley Flour), Organic Whole Wheat Flour, Salt, Yeast, Organic Rosemary, Sodium Hydroxide.
Directions
Heating Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and place frozen pretzels on a baking sheet. 2. Lightly dampen pretzels with water and physically apply sea salt (included). Note: sprinkling doesn't quite do the trick! 3. Bake for 4-6 minutes depending on texture preference. Axel thinks 6 minutes gives the pretzels a perfectly crunchy exterior with a soft and chewy inside. Do not microwave!

- Pick up orders have no service fees, regardless of non-Instacart+ or Instacart+ membership.

You can set item and delivery instructions in advance, as well as chat directly with your shopper while they shop and deliver your items. You can tell the shopper to:
- Find Best Match: By default, your shopper will use their best judgement to pick a replacement for your item.
- Pick Specific Replacement: You can pick a specific alternative for the shopper to purchase if your first choice is out-of-stock.
- Don't Replace: For items you'd rather not replace, choose "Don't replace" to get a refund if the item is out of stock.
