Robert Mondavi Winery Napa Valley Red Blend Red Wine is a supple, gorgeously dark red wine with fine tannins that opens with inviting aromas of ripe plum, black cherry, cedar, and graham cracker. This delicious red wine offers flavors of sweet tobacco, dried herbs, blackberries, rich dark chocolate, toast, and hints of coffee. Produced with hand-harvested fruit sourced from the deep, well-drained soils of Oakville, as well as from other vineyard sites throughout Napa Valley from St. Helena to Carneros – including Stags Leap District, Oak Knoll, Yountville, and Rutherford – this juicy and plush California red wine blends cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, merlot, and petit verdot varietals into a harmonious expression of Napa Valley wine. Aged for 22 months in 74% new French oak barrels, this bottled wine is concentrated and rich with a long, velvety finish. The Bordeaux varieties that compose this wine combine beautifully to provide a singular structure, balance, and flavor profile, making it enjoyable now and for years to come. Pair this red blend wine with aged cheeses, charcuterie, grilled steak and eggplant, and sauteed mushrooms, or enjoy a glass of wine on its own.
