Directions

Do not refreeze.
Recommended thawing instructions:
Place desired portion of frozen Xcellent® shrimp into a container overnight and refrigerate. Once thawed, rinse lightly under cold running water and drain.
Quick thawing instructions:
Place desired portion of frozen Xcellent® shrimp into a strainer and rinse lightly under cold water for approximately 5 minutes. While rinsing, rotate shrimp to ensure even thawing. Drain excess water. Shrimp are ready for cooking.
Cooking instructions:
Thaw shrimp (see above) prior to cooking methods shown below.
Grill: heat grill to medium-high heat, season shrimp and place on grill with tails pointing up. Cook on grill for 5-7 minutes or until shrimp are opaque in center.*
Broil: preheat oven to broil. Place shrimp on a non-stick baking sheet. Season them with your favorite seasoning and brush with oil or melted butter. Broil for 4 to 5 minutes turning once during cooking process. Cook until the shrimp are opaque in the center when cut in half.*
Saute: melt butter in a skillet, add thawed shrimp and your choice of seasoning and saute for approximately 5 minutes, or until the shrimp are opaque in the center when cut in half.*
