Blueberry, cherry, lemon, lemon-lime, green apple, orange, peach, raspberry, strawberry, watermelon. Indulgence without sugar. Sugar free & naturally sweetened. Gluten-free. Sugar free. No aftertaste. Our Story: In 1958, our founder, Paul Lehman set out on a mission to provide those unable to have sugar a chance to indulge in candy, one of life's simple pleasures. A diabetic himself, Paul worked tirelessly in creating his own special recipe. He then opened a candy shop in the Brooklyn Terminal Market affectionately naming the brand after his wife Eda. Paul developed a proprietary process resulting in a treat that tastes like real candy without any aftertaste, common among many other sugar free hard candies. Since this time, Eda's has remained committed to this original recipe and focused on only one thing: making the best sugar free hard candy. While other fads have come and gone, Eda's has stood the test of time for one reason: It simply tastes better. Sorbitol, our only sweetener, is a cool, refreshing sugar substitute which occurs naturally in many fruits and berries. Its use results in minimal absorption of carbohydrates, yielding no net carbs. We have never used any artificial sweeteners such as saccharine, sucralose, or aspartame. Our product is sodium free, gluten free, and our facility is free of nut and dairy allergens. We offer over 34 flavors, and five unique mixes which provide the widest variety of flavors not found anywhere else in the world. Join the community: Facebook; Twitter. www.edassugarfree.com.
