In 1988, our founder, Chef Nancy Silverton created the sourdough starter that would ultimately become the trademark ingredient in every loaf of La Brea Bakery bread. It is Nancy's original recipe, creativity, passion and dedication to quality that continues to set La Brea Bakery apart as the authority on artisan bread. To this day, enthusiasts continue to line up outside of our original bakery in Los Angeles, CA, for our natural, gourmet creations. La Breas Bakery's delicious breads can also be enjoyed around the globe. Petites: Smaller than our average-sized loaves, La Brea Bakery's Petites are the perfect size for one or two people to enjoy without having to worry about leftover bread. Petites are made with the exact same quality ingredients and craftsmanship as our other breads; only smaller proportions! Three-Cheese Petite Loaf: The Three-Cheese Petite Loaf combines a blend of three classic Italian cheeses: Asiago, Parmesan and Romano. It has hearty crumb, lovely golden crust and soft, smooth, rich interior. Delicious on its own or enjoy toasted with slices of fresh heirloom tomatoes.
Ingredients
Unbleached Enriched Flour (wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Water, Sour Culture, Asiago Medium Cheese (pasteurized Milk, Cheese Culture, Salt, Enzymes), Romano Cheese (pasteurized Cow's Milk, Salt, Cheese Culture, Enzymes), Parmesan Cheese (milk, Salt, Cheese Culture, Enzymes), Contains 2% Or Less Of: Salt, Semolina, Yeast, Maltodextrin, Whey, Natural Flavors.
Directions
Our breads taste best on the day of purchase, although they may keep longer. Store bread at room temperature in original packaging; fold bag to remove excess air. For optimal taste, do not refrigerate. For later use, freeze the bread in a sealed plastic bag. To enjoy, remove from bag, let thaw, place bread on baking sheet and heat in 425 degrees F oven for 3-5 minutes. Allow bread to cool.
Warnings
Contains: milk, wheat. Made in a facility that also processes soy and tree nuts (pecans and walnuts).
