Buonsenso, meaning wisdom, is made from estate-grown Catarratto, a variety which the Tasca family cultivate at a high altitude since 1830. A late ripening variety, Catarratto is often harvested even later than the red varietals planted at Tenuta Regaleali. The resulting wine exudes a sublime quality that can only be found in the hillsides of Tenuta Regaleali. With an elegant perfumed bouquet of pink grapefruit, yellow peach and green tea, supported by a fresh acidity that leads to a lovely persistency on the palate, Buonsenso is reminiscent of wines made in the northern area of Italy. This wine was vinified through temperature-controlled fermentation between 14-16°C (57-60°F) in stainless steel tanks over 18 days, and aged sur-lie in stainless steel tanks for 4 months. The 2021 vintage received 91 points from James Suckling and from Vinous. One 750mL wine bottle of Tenuta Regaleali Catarrato White Wine, 12.5% ABV
