At EcoTeas, we like to think of home on three levels: the body, the household and the planet. That's why an Eco Tea is healthy, affordable and sustainable. The EcoTeas Story: We started EcoTeas in the year 2000 in the kitchen of our home in Ashland, Oregon. We came together as three best friends with a shared vision: to create a grassroots tea company that supports organic agriculture, fair trade business practices and healthy living. We work to bring you the highest quality teas at the best possible prices. In addition to providing green livelihoods for our farmers and ourselves, we strive to inspire simple, healthy, sustainable lifestyles. Tea Source Story: You are holding in your hand a pound of the finest yerba mate on the planet. It comes from a three-generation family farm in northern Argentina. It is certified organic, fair trade, and kosher. We plant thousands of native trees on our partner farm each year to create shade, enhance biodiversity, and diversify the local economy. Our one-of-a-kind yerba has a vital aroma and a light, clean taste. It is dried with warm air instead of the usual smoke, then aged for at least nine months. Finally, we remove the stems and powder to achieve a pure-leaf product of exceptional quality and potency. EcoTeas Products: Try all our organic & fair trade teas! Thank you! Your purchase empowers our mission. Visit us online to share your experiences with us and to shop for gourds, bombillas, gift sets and other EcoTeas products. www.ecoteas.com.
