Meat pies have been a traditional favourite in Louisiana since the 1700's, and as the word spreads of how delicious and convenient they are, we keep making more and more to try to satisfy a constantly growing demand. Directions
Cooking Instructions: Deep frying: Preheat oil to 375 degrees. Fry pies from frozen state for 8 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Conventional oven: preheat oven to 400 degrees. Brush pies with melted margarine or butter. Bake on a non-stick cookie sheet for 25 minutes until golden brown and center is heated. Cooking note: cook until internal temperature reaches equal to or greater than 165 degrees F. Always prepare from frozen state. Product not recommended for microwavable use. Product must be fully cooked.
