Keep frozen or refrigerated. Storage and Use Instructions: Food can be stored in a freezer or refrigerator. If stored refrigerated, please consume within 1 week and use a clean, dry scoop for each feeding to maintain freshness. If stored frozen, allow to thaw for 15-20 minutes or until tender enough for your pet's consumption.
Feeding Guidelines: Depending on the activity level and body condition score of your dog, the feeding guidelines will need to be adjusted. The normal daily feeding amount for a healthy adult dog: Dog Size: 5 - 10 lbs; Cups* Per Day: 1 - 1-3/4. Dog Size: 11 - 20 lbs; Cups* Per Day: 1-3/4 - 2-3/4. Dog Size: 21 - 30 lbs; Cups* Per Day: 2-3/4 - 3-3/4. Dog Size: 31 - 40 lbs; Cups* Per Day: 3-3/4 - 4-3/4. Dog Size: 41 - 50 lbs; Cups* Per Day: 4-3/4 - 5-1/2. Dog Size: 50+ lbs; Cups* Per Day: 5-1/2 cups plus 3/4 cup for each 10 lbs of body weight over 50 lbs. The above quantities can be fed as one meal or divided into two meals based on your dog's preference. When switching foods, gradually increase the new food and decrease the previous food to help make a smooth transition. Visit your veterinarian regularly to maintain your pet's health.
