Tortillas: Enriched Bleached Wheat Flour (flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Water, Interesterified Soybeans Oil, Contains 2% Or Less Of: Sodium Aluminum Phosphate, Potassium Bicarbonate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Corn Starch, Calcium Sulfate, Ammonium Glutamate, Enzymes, Salt, Mono- And Diglycerides, Hydrogenated Cottonseed Oil, Carboxymethylcellulose, Potassium Sorbate And Calcium Propionate (to Preserve Freshness), Fumaric Acid, Sodium Metabisulfite. Directions
Pork Carnitas Street Tacos: 1 packet Ortega Carnitas Seasoning Mix (included); 2 tbsp vegetable oil; 2 tbsp lime juice; 2 lbs boneless pork shoulder cut into 1-1/2 inch pieces; 10 Ortega flour tortillas, warmed; 1 packet Ortega Smoky Chipotle Taco Sauce (included): Toppings: shredded cabbage, sliced avocado, sliced red onion. Makes 5 servings. 1. Combine Ortega Carnitas Seasoning Mix, oil and lime juice. Add pork and toss to coat. Marinate in refrigerator 30 minutes to 3 hours. 2. Place pork and 1-1/2 cups water in large skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 40 minutes. Uncover and simmer until liquid evaporates. 3. Continue to cook about 10 minutes, stirring often, until browned on all sides. Shred pork and serve in warm Ortega Flour Tortillas. Drizzle with Ortega Smokey Chipotle Taco Sauce. For quick Pork Carnitas, spread Carnitas Seasoning Mix, blended with oil and lime juice, over 1-1/2 lbs pork tenderloin and grill or broil to desired doneness.
