Cooking Instructions: Stovetop: 1. Pour 2 cups (480 ml) cold, unsalted water and contents of pouch into 7-inch-diameter pot. 2. Stir well and bring to boil. 3. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat 14 to 16 minutes, stirring occasionally, until water is completely absorbed. 4. Remove from heat and stir in 1 tablespoon grated cheese and 2 teaspoons unsalted butter if desired. Cooking times are approximate and may vary from one cooktop to another. Microwave: 1. In microwave-safe dish (about 2 quarts), pour contents of pouch into 2 cups cold, unsalted water. 2. Stir well and bring to boil. 3. Cook 15 to 17 minutes, until water is completely absorbed. 4. Remove from microwave and stir in 1 tablespoon grated cheese and 2 teaspoons unsalted butter if desired. Microwave cook times vary depending on appliance power; adjust accordingly.
