Elegant and uplifting, Bowmore 15 combines the sweet and citrusy flavors of sun-soaked lands with the rugged maritime taste of peated whisky. Each sip bursts with silky citrus, sweet vanilla and honeycomb, underpinned by sea salt. This leads into a lingering finish of gentle smoke, sweet almond and tangy lemon. Best served neat, or with a splash of water, this whisky deserves to be savored. Bowmore 15 is made at Islay's oldest and original distillery, where the whisky is still handcrafted today as it was in 1779. The barley is hand-turned in the proprietary malt barns, day and night, to absorb the subtle smokiness of locally-sourced Islay peat. The whisky is then placed in some of the finest first-fill bourbon casks and oak hogsheads, chosen by hand to ensure optimum maturation. It's then left in the warehouse to age for 15 years, where it picks up a golden color and notes of vanilla and spice. Bowmore 15 combines more than 240 years of whisky-making experience with 15 years of maturation to become a whisky truly sculpted by time. An award winner, it took home gold at the International Spirits Challenge in 2018. This expression is only available at global travel retail outlets, adding further exclusivity.
