Flavors of ripe citrus and green tea meet in every sip, met by warm toasted almonds and fresh floral flavors. Because it's triple distilled, it's smooth enough to drink over ice as a nightcap. Or, shake things up by mixing it into signature cocktails. Top with ginger beer to create a Glasgow Mule, or team with sweet vermouth and Angostura bitters for an Auchentoshan Manhattan. Like all Auchentoshan single malts, this 18 year old is distilled three times to ensure each sip is a smooth one. After distillation it's carefully and methodically aged in oak barrels. For nearly two decades, in this case. Over time the spirit meets with the oak, drawing a distinct golden summer barley color. This wood contact also imparts extra flavors like caramelized sugar and fresh tobacco leaf, which add to the distinctly delicate taste.
