Temperature Range: -40 degrees F to 500 degrees F/-40 degrees C to 260 degrees C. For accurate readings, make sure the thermometer stem tip does not touch the bottom of the pan. Adjust the pan clip to the correct positioning by squeezing the top and bottom together to loosen the connection and slide to the desired position. How to Use: 1. After placing the thermometer on the pan with the clip, turn on the digital display by pressing the 'on/off' button. Buttons for 'F/C' and 'reset' are on the back of the thermometer. 2. The 'hold' function allows temperature readings to be locked on the display after the thermometer is removed from the food. 3. The digital display can be powered off or will auto-shut off after a few minutes. Battery Replacement: Using a coin, turn the battery cover counterclockwise to open. Remove battery and replace with a new battery '+' side up. Replace battery cover.
