For apple pie only, test for doneness by inserting a small knife into the center. If there is any resistance, continue baking, retesting every ten minutes. Carefully remove pie from oven and allow to cool for 30 minutes before serving. Serving suggestions for baked pies. Pastry top: Set pie in oven at 200" for 20 minutes or slice into pieces and microwave for 30 seconds. Crumb top: Slice and heat each piece in microwave for 30 seconds. Needs refrigeration. Pies can be stored up to three days at room temperature and 4-5 days if refrigerated.
