Enriched Bleached Flour (wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Sugar, Peanut Butter (dry Roasted Peanuts, Dextrose, Palm Oil, Salt), Brown Sugar, Peanut Butter Baking Chips (sugar, Palm Kernel Oil And Palm Oil, Partially Defatted Peanut Flour, Whey Powder, Non-fat Dry Milk Solids, Peanuts, Anhydrous Dextrose, Salt, Soy Lecithin [emulsifier]), Baking Soda, Food Starch-modified, Molasses Powder (molasses, Wheat Starch), Salt, Natural Flavor (contains Peanuts).

Directions

You'll need: 1 Egg. 4 tbsp (1/4 cup) Butter or margarine (Real butter works best. If using margarine, use one that contains more than 65% oil); softened (not melted). Tip: For Monster cookies, stir in chopped peanuts, colored chocolate candies and chocolate chips. (1) Heat oven to 350 degrees F. If necessary, soften cold butter in microwave on High power for 10-15 seconds. (2) Stir with a spoon. Stir egg, butter and cookie mix until dough forms, hand kneading if necessary. Scoop dough and place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Use a fork to form a crisscross pattern on each cookie. For cookie bars, press dough into lightly greased 8 x 8 - inch pan. (3) Bake until golden. Bake as directed below or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 5 minutes and remove from cookie sheet. For cookie bars, cool thoroughly before cutting. Store cooled cookies in airtight container. Do not eat raw batter. Yield (16 - 18 Cookies); Dough quantity (1 rounded tbsp); Bake time (9 - 11 minutes). Yield (12 Cookies); Dough quantity (2 rounded tbsp); Bake time (11 - 13 minutes). Yield (Cookie bars); Dough quantity (8x8 - inch pan); Bake time (22 - 24 minutes). High altitude (over 5,000 feet): Prepare as directed, adding 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour.

Peanut Butter & Chocolate Bars: 1 package Krusteaz Double Peanut Butter Cookie Mix; 4 tbsp butter, softened; 1 egg; 1 cup chocolate chips. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease 9x9-inch pan. Stir butter, egg and cookie mix until dough forms. Press dough into pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips, lightly pressing into dough. Bake 22-28 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into bars. Makes 16 bars.
