cold asian vegetable vermicelli pasta salad - 8 oz. Vermicelli pasta, 6 oz. Sugar snap peas, 6 oz. Pea pods, 6 oz. Edamame, 1 red pepper cut into bite size pieces, 1-11oz. Can mandarin oranges, drained, 1/3 cup plum sauce, 2 tablespoons water, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil, 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper, 1/3 cup sliced green onions, 1/2 cup slivered toasted almonds, cook pasta according to the package directions. Drain and rinse well under cold water. Drain thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate until chilled. For dressing: in a large bowl, stir together plum sauce, water, soy sauce, sesame oil, and crushed red pepper. Add: pasta, red pepper, oranges, pea pods, sugar snap peas, green onions, and edamame. Toss. Sprinkle with slivered almonds. Serve immediately.
