spaghetti alla carbonara and broccoli - 5 slices bacon, 5 slices pancetta, 2 cups whipping cream, 1-1/2 cups grated parmesan cheese, 6 egg yolks, 18 oz. Spaghetti, pepper, salt, broccoli, saute bacon and pancetta in a large frying pan until crisp. Cool, then whisk in whipping cream, parmesan cheese and yolks until completely melted into each other. Cook broccoli florets in hot water until tender. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and toss with broccoli and sauce. Serve with a sprinkle of parmesan. Cooking directions - bring water to a rapid boil. To add flavor and reduce stickiness, add salt. Add pasta and stir; Return to a rapid boil. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally.
