Directions
Traditional Italian Risotto: Serves 3-4. 1 medium onion thinly sliced & diced, 2 tbsp. olive oil, 4 tbsp. butter, 5 cups chicken or beef stock. 1. Brown the onion in the oil and butter in a medium sized saucepan until golden brown. 2. Add 1-1/2 cups Riso Angelita Rice and stir with a wooden spoon over medium heat for a few minutes. 3. Add just enough stock to cover rice, simmer, stirring frequently. 4. As rice absorbs the stock, add the remainder until the rice is cooked (16-20 minutes). The rice preserves its specific properties if, after opening, it is stored in a cool, dry and well ventilated environment.
