pepper steak - ingredients: 1-1/2 cup stater bros. 50% less sodium beef broth, 1 lb boneless beef top sirloin steak, cut 1" thick, 3 tbsp vegetable oil, 1 medium green pepper, cut into strips, 1 medium red pepper, cut into strips, 1 medium onion, cut into wedges, 3 tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce, 2 tbsp cornstarch, 1-1/2 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp ground ginger hot, cooked rice, preparation instructions: cut beef, across the grain, into 1/4" thick by 3" long slices. Add 2 tbsp oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook half the beef strips until browned; Remove beef strips to a plate. Repeat with remaining beef strips. Add remaining oil to skillet; Add peppers and onion, cook, stirring, until soft, about 4 to 5 minutes. Return beef strips to skillet. Combine broth, soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar, garlic powder and ginger in a medium bowl. Add broth to skillet; Cook until thickened. Serve with rice. Makes 4 servings
