For best results, apply this product to actively-growing weeds during the early growth stages. Use in the spring or fall when daytime temperatures are between 45°F and 90°F. Two or more applications at 14 day intervals throughout the season may be required for grass weeds. Apply when daytime temperatures are between 45 degrees and 90 degrees F. Spring And Early Summer: Crabgrass (large and smooth): Apply this product from crabgrass emergence until the 6 leaf stage (2 tillers) or when the crabgrass is 3 to 4 inches tall. This period begins the first time that you can see crabgrass in your lawn. Use two applications with a 14-day interval between applications. Foxtail (green, giant and yellow): Apply this product to foxtail during the early growth stages or when the foxtail is 1 to 4 inches tall. Use two applications with a 14-day interval between applications. Yellow nut sedge: Two applications are required when the yellow nut sedge plants are 3 to 6 inches tall. Do not apply the second application until 14 days after the first application. Dandelion, plantain, buttercup, speedwell, knotweed, pennywort (dollar weed) and other broadleaf weeds: Apply when broadleaf weeds are young and actively growing with adequate soil moisture. Fall: Henbit, , chickweed, white clover, ground ivy, lawn burweed, spearwort, Carolina geranium and other broadleaf weeds: Apply when broadleaf weeds are young and actively growing with adequate soil moisture for best results. Battery Operated sprayer with extendable wand. 1. Remove. Remove wand from side clip. Pull connector by slightly twisting from holder and unwrap hose completely. Remove protective strip from battery compartment to activate batteries. 2. Connect: Insert plug at end of hose into knob opening on cap until it clicks. Twist knob to on. 3. Extend: Flip open wand until it clicks and locks into position. Extend wand fully. 4. Spray: Slide trigger lock on wand handle to the unlocked position. Twist nozzle to desired spray pattern. Point nozzle away from body and hold trigger for continuous spray. Important Use Information: Do not submerge in water. When storing sprayer for long periods, remove batteries. To Replace Batteries: Open battery compartment at bottom of wand with a small screwdriver. Remove used batteries and replace with new AA alkaline batteries in correct position as marked inside battery compartment. Securely close battery compartment door and screw closed firmly. Always use a complete set of the same type when replacing batteries. Best performance is achieved with alkaline batteries. Never mix alkaline, carbon-zinc or rechargeable batteries. Dispose of used batteries according to manufacturer's instructions or in household trash. How to Refill: To refill this empty container, pour product carefully and directly from the Roundup For Lawns, container designated as the ready-to-use refill container. Do not add water. Twist sprayer nozzle to the off position. Engage trigger lock. Flip the wand closed and place in side clip. Store product in original container in a safe place away from direct sunlight. Keep from freezing. If frozen, allow to thaw and shake well before using. Pesticide Disposal and Container Handling: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container unless the directions for use allow a different concentrated or ready-to-use product to be diluted in or poured directly into the container.
