Instructions: Thank you for purchasing the temple thermometer. Please read these instructions carefully to ensure proper use and safe operation of your thermometer. Quick start tips: 1. Press and release the power button, wait 2-seconds. 2. Hold unit firmly to temple until a long single beep is heard, 6-8 seconds. 3. Results will be displayed on the screen. 4. Wait one minute before new measurement. 5. To alternate between degrees F and degrees C, press and hold the power button. Please read and save these instructions: This product is not intended to diagnose or treat any health problem or disease and should not be used as a substitute for the consultation and advice of a physician or other medical professional. Thermometers should only be used under the supervision of an adult. Before use, it is recommended that the patient avoid eating, drinking, smoking or exercising for at least twenty minutes prior to taking a measurement. Never walk, run or talk during a measurement. Normal body temperature / fever indicator: Body temperature can vary from 97 degrees F and 100.0 degrees F and still be considered normal. The medically accepted "Normal" body temperature is 98.6 degrees F body temperature is commonly lower in the upon waking than at any point during the rest of an individual's waking hours. Temperature readings will vary based on the body location point of the reading. Average normal temperature ranges by measurement location site: Forehead: 97.0 degrees F-100.0 degrees F (36.1 degrees C-37.8 degrees C). Oral: 97.0 degrees F-100.0 degrees F (36.1 degrees C-37.8 degrees C). Rectal: 97.3 degrees F-100.4 degrees F (36.3 degrees C-38.0 degrees). It is important to determine what is normal for an individual before determining if a fever is present. Tracking an individual's temperature on a consistent basis, at the same body site and at the same time everyday when the person is well or healthy will help determine an individual's normal temperature. Guidelines for temple measurements: correct placement. In correct placement. This thermometer is designed to measure the temperature at the forehead, in proximity to the temple area between the end of the eyebrow and the hairline. Do not place the thermometer on scar tissue, skin disorder, open sores or abrasions or patients in trauma. Consult your physician when using drug therapies that may elevate skin temperature in the forehead. Do not use skin exposed to direct sunlight, fireplace heat, air conditioner or fan air flow, or hot/cold compress therapies. Wait at least one minute between measurements to allow the unit sensor to readjust to room temperature. If the thermometer has been stored in an excessively cold or warm environment, allow the thermometer to adjust to the ambient room temperature before use. Performance and operation of this unit may be compromised if operated outside of the specified temperature and humidity operating ranges. Operating instructions: 1. Press and release the power button to activate the thermometer. 2. The unit will beep and the thermometer will perform a self-test, showing all of the symbols on the display, fig 1. 3. The last measurement taken will show on the display. 4. Gently place the probe in the center of the temple area between the end of the eyebrow and the hairline. Maintain firm contact with the skin, hold the thermometer in place during the reading and do not move the thermometer to ensure reliable results. 5. Do not press the power button again. The measurement will start automatically once the probe is in place and will take approximately 6-8 seconds. A running circle will appear on the display indicating the reading is in progress, fig 2. 6. The unit will sound one long beep when the measurement is complete and the reading will appear on the display, fig 3. 7. To turn the unit off, simply press the power button. The unit will automatically shut-off after approximately one minute. Note: if you take another measurement before 1 minute has elapsed, the device will perform a 10 to 0 countdown to allow the device to reset for a new measurement. Do not try to measure during this countdown. If you attempt to measure during the countdown time, the device will display the previous result, beep 8 times and turn itself off automatically. Setting the operating scale degrees F or degrees C. The device setting is by default Fahrenheit (degrees F). To change the scale to degrees c, or back to degrees F: 1. While off, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds, on the screen you will see the icon (degrees F, degrees C) changes. 2. Release the button, the hourglass icon will disappear in 5 seconds indicating that the device is ready for use. Memory recall: this unit includes a recall of the last measurement taken. When the unit is off, press the power button to turn the unit on, and release. After the self-test, the unit will briefly show the last reading on the display. Replacing the battery: this thermometer includes 2 AAA 1.5v batteries. The low-battery symbol will appear on the top enter of the display when the battery needs to be changed. 1. Carefully slide the battery cap away from the unit. 2. Replace the batteries, taking care to match the correct polarity. 3. Carefully replace the battery cap. 4. Do not dispose of used batteries in the trash. Consult your local recycling center for the proper way to dispose of batteries in your area. Keep used batteries away from children, pets and excessive heat. Troubleshooting / identifying display symbols: performance may be degraded should one or more of the following occur: operation outside stated temperature and humidity range. Storage outside state temperature and humidity range. Mechanical shock. Patient temperature is below ambient temperature. The thermometer has been designed to display feedback-warnings to ensure proper usage and accurate temperature measurement. When an error appears, the device will "Beep" 5 times, and then the thermometer will turn off automatically. In the event of a malfunction or incorrect temperature measurement, the following warnings will be displayed. Error: HI; Problem/cause: the measured temperature is above 107.6 degrees F (42 degrees C). These are not device malfunctions; Solution: 1. Turn the unit off and then on again. 2. Retake temperature. 3. If still reads hi, this indicates that the patient has a high fever; seek medical attention. Error: LO; Problem/cause: the measured temperature is below 95 degrees F (35 degrees C). These are not device malfunctions; Solution: 1. Turn the unit off and then on again. 2. Retake temperature. 3. If still reads lo, this indicates that the patient has a low body temperature: seek medical attention. Error: ER.1; Problem/cause: the thermometer is too cold or too hot to operate; Solution: 1. Verify that the room temperature within product range 60.8 degrees F-104 degrees F (16 degrees C - 40 degrees C). 2. Retake temperature. Error: Eг.2; Problem/cause: Temperature did not register because of poor contact, patient movement or poor placement; Solution: Turn the unit off, wait 2 minutes, turn it on again and retake temperature. Error: Ег.З; Problem/cause: Unit malfunctioned; Solution: Do not use the thermometer - contact Customer care. Problem/cause: Low battery - battery icon flashes; Solution: Battery is low, enough power remains for approximately 10 measurements. Problem/cause: Drained battery - Battery icon is the only icon on the display and unit turns off; Solution: Battery is completely expired and must be replaced. Care and cleaning instructions: wipe the probe with an alcohol swab or a cotton swab moistened with 70% isopropyl alcohol before & after each use. After cleaning, wait at least 2 minutes before taking a measurement for the unit to readjust to room temperature. Use only a soft dry cloth to clean the body of the thermometer (if necessary). Never use an abrasive cleanser or submerge the thermometer in water or other liquids. Do not expose the thermometer to extreme temperatures, humidity, direct sunlight or shock.

You can set item and delivery instructions in advance, as well as chat directly with your shopper while they shop and deliver your items. You can tell the shopper to:

- Find Best Match: By default, your shopper will use their best judgement to pick a replacement for your item.
- Pick Specific Replacement: You can pick a specific alternative for the shopper to purchase if your first choice is out-of-stock.
- Don't Replace: For items you'd rather not replace, choose "Don't replace" to get a refund if the item is out of stock.
