Protégé Chardonnay White Wine is crafted by iconic Napa Valley Chardonnay winemaker, Mike Chelini and his protege Matt Torres in Stony Hill Style. This wine opens with a bright, pretty nose showcasing dried flowers, lemon zest and wet stone. Attractive, layered flavors support an amazing texture that leads into a long finish with racy acidity full of mineral-driven nuances. A vibrant bouquet of pineapple and attractive white peach boast from the glass. The 2019 vintage received 90 points from Wine Enthusiast in November 2022. Enjoy this wine with food such as grilled halibut with lemon and Pecorino Romano cheese. Sustainably farmed and sourced exclusively from our estate vineyard, Vista Montone, near Carneros. The chardonnay grapes were whole-cluster, bladder pressed before undergoing fermentation. Wines were fermented and aged 10 months in mostly neutral French oak barrels (12% new) and did not undergo malolactic fermentation, a hallmark Mike Chelini tactic. One 750mL wine bottle of Protégé Chardonnay White Wine, 13.7% alcohol by volume.

You can set item and delivery instructions in advance, as well as chat directly with your shopper while they shop and deliver your items. You can tell the shopper to:

- Find Best Match: By default, your shopper will use their best judgement to pick a replacement for your item.
- Pick Specific Replacement: You can pick a specific alternative for the shopper to purchase if your first choice is out-of-stock.
- Don't Replace: For items you'd rather not replace, choose "Don't replace" to get a refund if the item is out of stock.
