Remove sprayer. Pull cord/tubing All the way out. 2. Insert plug into knob opening on cap. 3. Flip up spout or Turn knob to on. Adjust nozzle to the desired spray setting. Flip up spout must remain up while spraying. How to Apply Adjust nozzle to the desired spray setting. Spray the weeds or grasses you want to kill until thoroughly wet. When spot treating weeds around desirable plants, shield plants from drift with a sheet of cardboard or plastic. If desirable plants are sprayed accidentally, rinse off immediately with water. Important: Do not spray plants or grasses you like they will die. Not recommended for spot weed control in lawns since this product kills lawn grasses. Do not allow treated weeds to come in contact with desirable plants until spray has dried. When to Apply: Apply when weeds are actively growing. For best results, apply during warm, sunny weather above 60 degrees F. Spray when air is calm to prevent drift to desirable plants. Rainproof Rain or watering 30 minutes after application will not wash away effectiveness. Weeds yellow and wilt within hours with complete kit in 1 to 2 weeks for annual weeds. Perennial weeds such as poison ivy may take 4 or more weeks for complete kill. Application Restrictions: Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing during and after application. Do not apply this product in a way that will contact any person or pet, either directly or through drift. Keep people and pets out of the area during application. Only persons applying this product may be in the area during application. Do not exceed the maximum single or yearly application rate of 60 fl oz product per 300 sq ft (9 lb ae triclopyr per acre) and wait a minimum of 28 days before repeating application. When To Replant: All ornamental flowers may be planted 1 day after application. Lawn grasses may be planted 7 days after application. Non-conifer trees and shrubs may be planted 14 days after application. Conifer trees and shrubs may be planted 30 days after application. How to Refill: This container and sprayer can be reused. To refill this empty container, pour product carefully and directly from the Roundup Weed & Grass Killer container designated as the ready-to-use refill container. Do not add water. Use Roundup Weed & Grass Killer, Concentrate to refill the container. Add 6.0 fl oz (12 Tbs) of Roundup Weed & Grass Killer Concentrate to this empty container then fill with water slowly to avoid foaming. Additional Tips: For lawn replacement: Use this product to kill an existing lawn and weeds before planting a new lawn or prior to laying a patio, sidewalk or driveway. If green patches remain after 28 days and the area has not been reseeded, spot treat as necessary. If frozen, allow to thaw and shake well before using. To prevent accidental poisoning, never store this product in food, drink, or unlabeled containers. Pesticide disposal and container handling: nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container unless the directions for use allow a different concentrated or ready-to-use product to be diluted in or poured directly into the container.
