Preparation Directions: You will need: 1 package Essential Everyday Taco Seasoning Mix; 1 pound ground beef or turkey; 2/3 cup water. Stovetop: 1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook and crumble meat until no longer pink; drain fat. 2. Stir in Essential Everyday taco seasoning and water. Cook until sauce comes to a boil, stirring frequently. 3. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; let stand 1 minute (sauce will thicken upon standing). Amount: Makes 10-12 tacos.
Serving Suggestions: Spoon 2 to 3 tablespoons taco meat filling into 10 to 12 prepared taco shells or over 1/2 cup corn chips or tortilla chips, per serving. Top with shredded lettuce, cheese and chopped tomatoes.
