All-natural. Handmade meal to go! Excellent source of protein. Good source of whole grains, calcium & iron. Excellent source of ALA Omega-3s from flax. Stuffed with scrambled eggs & mozzarella cheese! Breakfast! The spirit of the pretzel was born in 610 A.D. and lives today in a magical pretzel bakery in America. The first pretzel was invented by a monk in Northern Italy. With the ends of the dough left over after bread baking, this imaginative monk devised a strip of dough and formed it to represent children's arms folded in prayer. It was such an intriguing twist that he gave it to children for learning their prayers and called it Pretiola, which is Latin for little reward. Word caught on as children very much enjoyed the twisted treats. This precious Pretiola found its way to Austria, Germany, and beyond. Over time the word Pretiola evolved to become Pretzel, and the pretzel evolved to become more than the monk in 610 A.D. could have ever imagined. Kim and Scott's Gourmet Pretzels has added a unique twist to the ancient pretzel by creating delicious flavors, using custom recipes and premium ingredients. Today, people of all ages enjoy our handmade twists, made with the same magical spirit that all started back in 610 A.D. A Twist of Fate! We met at a Chicago book signing by a wondrous author, Richard Bach, who writes about Soulmates and airplanes. We fell passionately in love and decided to express our joy by flying high together inside a passionate soft pretzel business and nurture the world with our deliciously twisted and inspired products. Each one of our delicious pretzels is twisted by hand and made from scratch by one of our loving Twisted Team bakers. We use only all-natural and premium ingredients, like freshly shredded cheeses, hearty spices, and unbleached flour. Our pretzel creations are then flash frozen, in order to deliver a superior quality and amazingly fresh delicious flavor. We combine a traditional European recipe with our own unique twist, creating a truly rustic, handmade pretzel with the doughy softness of freshly baked bread. And most of all, along this wonderful and twisted pretzel journey, we love to share our passion and enthusiasm for our inspired products. So please enjoy! Here's our twist! Our unique soft pretzels make a wonderful all-natural anytime snack or meal. Egg & Cheese: This is sure to add a twist to your breakfast.
