Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Wheat Flour, Organic Chocolate Chips (organic Chocolate, Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Vanilla Extract), Organic Cocoa, Organic Palm Oil, Organic Tapioca Starch, Sea Salt, Natural Flavor, Baking Soda.
Directions
You Will Need: For Brownie Batter: 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter, melted; 2 tablespoon water; 1 egg. For Cookie Dough: 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter, softened (to soften butter, let stand at room temperature for 1-2 hours, or microwave for 10-15 seconds until softened) (not melted); 2 tablespoon water. Baking Instructions: 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F for shiny metal or glass pan or 325 degrees F for nonstick pan. Grease bottom of pan. 2. Stir brownie mix, melted butter, 2 tablespoons water and egg in a medium bowl until well blended. Spread in pan. 3. Stir cookie mix, softened butter and 2 tablespoons water in another medium bowl until well blended (dough will be stiff). Drop cookie dough by 9 rounded tablespoonfuls onto brownie batter in 3 rows of 3. 4. Bake as directed below or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Let cool. To cut warm bars easily, use a plastic knife and short sawing motions. Store tightly covered. Pan Size: 8 inches x 8 inches; Bake Time: 39-44 minutes. 9 inches x 9 inches; Bake Time: 34-39 bake time minutes. 11 inches x 7 inches; Bake Time: 32-37 minutes. Butter substitute, make brownie batter using 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons water and 1 egg and cookie dough using 3 tablespoons oil and 2 tablespoons water. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change. We know it's tempting but please do not eat raw batter or dough.
