Directions
Thawing instructions:
For best results thaw steaks in the refrigerator before cooking. For quick thawing, place steaks in cold running water, while still in their wrapper (approx. 30 minutes).
Temperature guide:
Rare - 140 degrees F - seared outside with 75% rare center.
Med rare - 145 degrees F - seared outside with 50% rare center.
Med - 160 degrees F - seared outside with 25% rare center.
Med well - 165 degrees F - a slight hint of pink.
Well done - 170 degrees F - cooked until 100% brown center.
Cooking instructions:
For the grill:
Preheat gas or charcoal to medium high heat. Season steaks as desired, and place directly over heat. Grill 20 minutes, turning once. Turn steaks on their side to brown bacon.
For the broiler.
Preheat broiler for 10 minutes. Season steaks as desired; place steaks on broiler pan. Broil 15 minutes, turing occasionally. Turn steaks on their side to brown bacon.
For the skillet.
Heat a small amount of oil in the skillet until hot. Season steaks as desired; place in pre-heated skillet. Fry 12-14 minutes, turning occasionally. Turn steaks on their side to brown bacon.
