Friend of the heart. To your good health. Incredibly tasty. Excellent source of protein and fiber. The Anasazi were cliff-dwelling natives that inhabited the Southwest over 1500 years ago. One of the few crops they cultivated and thrived on were these beautiful, nutritious beans. They require no presoaking and cook in about 2/3 the time of most other beans. They have a sweet full flavor and a rich mealy texture, perfect for any dish calling for beans. Anasazi Beans are not only delicious, but also a wonderful source of dietary fiber, protein, and iron. You can see our quality! Diets rich in whole grain foods and other plant foods low in total fat, saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease and some cancers. All natural. Beans, peas and lentils are natural agricultural products. Despite use of modern agricultural equipment, it is not always possible to remove all foreign material. Sort and rinse before cooking. Product of the USA.
