Directions
Keep frozen. Prepare Me: Saute is Best: Heat 1-2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Cook frozen meatless breakfast patties for approximately 5-7 mins, turning once until browned on both sides. Conventional Oven/Toaster Oven: Preheat to 450 degrees F. Bake from frozen on a non stick pan for 6-8 mins until well browned, turning once. Microwave: Place 1 piece of frozen breakfast patty on a microwave safe dish and cook covered for 2 - 2-1/2 minutes on high until hot throughout. Tip: Let rest for 1 minute and before serving. Do not overcook. Cook until internal temperature reaches minimum of 165 degrees F. Breakfast Ideas: Wrap or Scramble: Cook Gardein Breakfast Patty as per cooking instructions, break into pieces and set aside. Saute eggs (or tofu), onions, red peppers, mushrooms and baby potatoes until browned. Add cheese (or non-dairy option) and breakfast patty pieces. Serve as a breakfast scramble or make a wrap.
