A wine produced by the Count Giuseppe Tasca d’Almerita for his wife Countess Franca in 1984 to celebrate their “Golden Wedding”, Nozze d’Oro is a unique blend of Inzolia and Sauvignon “Tasca variety” cultivated since World War I. After a cold maceration of Sauvignon Tasca grapes followed by temperature-controlled fermentation of both varieties between 16-18°C (60-64°F) in stainless steel tanks over 15 days, the wine is aged sur-lie in stainless steel tanks for 5 months, followed by 6 months in bottle. A brilliant wine with complex aromas that combine hints of exotic fruit with floral notes such as orange blossom and white flowers. The bouquet is amplified by a salty freshness, leaving a sensation of great complexity and structure. Fresh, young and with unexpected longevity.
