Allium cepa (hybrid). Short day. 120-150 days. Sow in late summer or early fall. This onion is used by Georgia farmers to grow the famous Vidalia Onion. Top quality with classic sweet, mild taste. Some folks eat them like apples! The secret to growing really sweet, mild onions is to start with a sweet short-day variety and have soil that is very low in sulfur. Yellow Granex PRR (pink root resistant) is one of the few varieties approved by the Georgia Agricultural Commission to be sold as a Vidalia Onion when it is grown in approved areas near Vidalia, GA. 3-4 inches and excellent for eating fresh. - Find Best Match: By default, your shopper will use their best judgement to pick a replacement for your item.
- Pick Specific Replacement: You can pick a specific alternative for the shopper to purchase if your first choice is out-of-stock.
- Don't Replace: For items you'd rather not replace, choose "Don't replace" to get a refund if the item is out of stock.
