Details
Experience the gold standard in hair removal. Nair Lux Wax is the #1 Hot Wax Formula in France (based on units sold). It’s renowned by the French for its proven effectiveness on short hair, which means less wait time between waxes. Enjoy the touchably smooth, soft feeling you love for up to 4 weeks. This full kit includes everything you’ll need to wax at home: a microwavable hot wax pot, a spatula, and two post-waxing wipes. To heat the wax, follow the recommended usage instructions depending on your microwave. When it’s ready, the wax will appear fully melted and stir easily. Its creamy, honey-like consistency spreads easily into thin layers and dries quickly, so you can bid adieu to the wax strips, blades, and trimmers that bulk up your bathroom cabinets. Before waxing, clean and pat skin dry. Apply powder to the area to be waxed for easier removal, if needed. After waxing, clean skin with the included after-care wipes, and finish with your favorite moisturizer. Dispose of any used wax and store leftover, untouched wax for next time. Overheated wax may cause severe burns. In case of burn, immediately flush area with cold water for at least 10 minutes. Do not try to remove the wax. Consult a physician. Do not use 24 hours before or after sunbathing. Always do a patch test before using.
Ingredients
Glyceryl Rosinate, Triethylene Glycol Rosinate, Paraffin, Hydrogenated Styrene/butadiene Copolymer, Microcrystalline Wax, Fragrance, Mica, Bht, Titanium Dioxide, Yellow 5 Lake, Silica, Tris-bht Mesitylene
Directions
Heat, Apply & Remove for Smooth Skin: Overheating the wax or not following the instructions can cause serious burns. 1. Start: Place the tub (with the lid) in an off-center position on a microwave safe plate in the microwave. 2. Heat: Set your heating time based on the table provided. Always microwave on a power setting of 8 (80%). If you do not know your microwave wattage please start with 1 min 30 sec. Heating power can vary depending on microwave power (wattage), size, and amount of wax being heated. (See heating times table). 3. Rest: Always allow the tub to rest for 3 minutes in the microwave with the door closed before removing it. This is to ensure the wax is heated evenly throughout. Take extreme care when removing the tub (with the lid) from the microwave. Check the appearance of the product before removing it. If the product is overheated (very liquid wax, distorted jar, smoking), leave to rest for 1 hour. If the product is ready for use after rest, carefully remove the tub (with the lid) from the microwave using the tub handles. 4. Mix: Dip the spatula through the slot of the safety lid and begin mixing (approximately 1 min). If the spatula does not penetrate through the wax then you will need reheat for additional 10 second increments at Power 8 (80%) until the optimal creamy/honey consistency is achieved. Remove the spatula from the tub if reheating for additional time. 5. Test & Apply: Check the wax temperature before application by applying a small amount of wax with the tip of the spatula on the inside of your wrist. The wax should feel warm and easy to spread in thin layers. Once the wax temperature is acceptable for use, dip the spatula in the tub and pick up a thick knob of wax. Turn the spatula on itself to avoid dripping of the wax. Deposit the knob of wax at the top of the area to be waxed. With the side of the spatula spread the wax in the direction of hair growth in a thin layer, leaving a thicker section on the end for easier removal. 6. Remove: Let the wax layer dry. When the wax is no longer sticky to the touch and the thicker section of the wax can be easily lifted off the skin, it is ready to be removed. Lift the thicker section of the applied wax. Remove the wax in one quick movement in the direction opposite of hair growth. 7. Moisturize: Any residual wax left on skin can be removed with the post-waxing wipes or cotton ball with moisturizing oil. Heating Times: 900W or below Microwave; 2 min 30 sec New tub; 2 min 10 sec Partial tub. 1000W Microwave; 1 min 50 sec New tub. 1 min 30 sec Partial tub. 1100W or above Microwave; 1 min 30 sec New tub; 1 min 10 sec Partial tub.
