Enriched Long Grain Parboiled Rice (rice, Iron, Niacin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Folic Acid), Black Beans, Yeast Extract, Salt, Onion, Malted Barley Flour, Red And Green Bell Pepper, Spices (including Red Pepper), Garlic, Enriched Wheat Flour (flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Potato, Citric Acid, Extractives Of Paprika, Tamari Soy Sauce (soybean, Salt) & Natural Flavor.
Directions
Stove Top Directions: Pick A Protein: 1/2 lb., cut into bite-sized pieces. Smoked Sausage. Ham Cooked Chicken. Andouille Sausage. Cook: Mix 2-1/2 cups water, Rice Mix, meat of your choice and 2 tbsp. butter or olive oil in 3-quart saucepan until well blended. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover. Simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Stir occasionally to prevent rice and beans from sticking. Enjoy Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.
Tips & Tricks: Veggify: Add 1 medium tomato, chopped or 1/2 cup fresh salsa, 1 cup cooked corn or 1 cup chopped bell pepper. Quick & Easy: Add 1 can drained red kidney beans for a quick two bean rice side dish. Homemade: Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and crushed tortilla chips.
